Madinah: The Khir Al-Madinah Waqf provided services to 938,182 beneficiaries during the first half of Ramadan. The endowment has used an integrated field distribution system that covered the Prophet's Mosque and 31 other mosques in Madinah. Distribution also extended through air and land points, as well as healthcare and residential facilities.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Secretary General of the Waqf Dr. Abdulmohsen Al-Harbi stated that the total distribution during the first half of Ramadan included over 502,000 dry and hot iftar meals. The endowment also distributed 180,285 baked goods, including croissants, millet cakes, and ma'moul, as well as 99,096 packages of date paste and pitted dates. In addition, it provided 102,095 bottles of water, 2,146 kilograms of fruits, and 41,425 cups of tea and juice.
He added that 1,252 male and female volunteers from the local community in Madinah contributed a total of 10,016 volunteer hours to support the distribution efforts.
