KAUST, EU Strengthen Research Partnership to Advance Innovation and Sustainability

Riyadh: The King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), in collaboration with the European Union (EU) Mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the Sultanate of Oman, organized a joint event titled 'Bridging European Cooperation in the Fields of Researchers' Mobility, Science, Innovation, and Beyond.' The event, which brought together more than 211 students, researchers, and postdoctoral fellows, reflected KAUST's commitment to strengthening international collaboration and empowering human capital.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Ambassador of the European Union to Saudi Arabia, Christophe Farnaud, emphasized KAUST's dedication to research excellence and its crucial role in supporting the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. This reinforces the depth of the strategic partnership with the European Union, which is committed to building a sustainable future grounded in knowledge and innovation.

This cooperation is part of a broader effort to enhance the educational partnership between Saudi Arabia and the European Union. It aligns with national initiatives to advance the knowledge economy and foster a new generation of innovators and researchers ready to contribute to future transformations.
