Amman: Prime Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Dr. Jafar Hassan received Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC) President Hassan Alhwaizy today in Amman. The president was accompanied by FSC Secretary-General Waleed Alorainan and Chairman of the Saudi-Jordanian Business Council Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Thubaity. The meeting was held within the framework of the Saudi economic delegation's trip to Jordan to discuss economic cooperation between the two countries.
According to Saudi Press Agency, discussions reviewed government enablers, investment opportunities, and advantages in Jordan, in light of the deep brotherly ties between the two countries and their leaderships and the mutual desire to boost economic, trade, and investment opportunities.
The Jordanian prime minister stressed the importance of enhancing partnership and communication between the business sectors in Jordan and Saudi Arabia, given their role in providing a supportive environment for business, stimulating joint economic initiatives, facilitating trade and investment exchange, and sharing expertise that positively benefits both countries.
Alhwaizy stressed the Saudi business sector's willingness and readiness to expand its investments in the Jordanian market and boost relations with its counterparts in Jordan to support the business, trade, and investment environment in both countries.
Talks focused on boosting cooperation in key economic sectors such as transport, railways, tourism, and industry, as well as access to joint markets, including Syria's reconstruction programs and the promising African market.
