Jeddah to Host PFL Season Two Launch on Friday

Jeddah: Jeddah's Onyx Arena will host the highly anticipated launch of the second season of the Professional Fighters League (PFL) this Friday, a prominent event for MENA mixed martial arts fighters in the 2025 season.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the main lightweight clash features Iranian champion Mohsen Mohammadseifi taking on Egypt's Ahmed El Sisy. The same category also includes Algerian Souhil Tahiri versus Kuwaiti Abdullah Saleem, and Bahraini Abbas Khan against Moroccan Salah Eddine Hamli.

In the featherweight division, Jordan's Abdelrahman Alhyasat, who is on a five-fight winning streak, will face undefeated Moroccan Taha Bendaoud. Jordan's Izzeddine Al Derbani will battle Algerian Mohamed Amine, while Iraq's Hussein Salem is set to meet Egypt's Assem Ghanem.

Exhibition bouts include Saudi Abdulaziz bin Moammar's openweight debut against Morocco's Fares Hamdani, and a flyweight matchup between Saudi Malik Basahel and Algeria's Mountassir Boutouta.

In a women's featherweight match, undefeated Kuwaiti Eman Almudhaf will fight Brazil's Shamara Braga.
