Jazan: President of Jazan University Mohammad AbuRasain on Monday inaugurated a scientific symposium on Saudi Arabia’s efforts to serve Hajj pilgrims. The symposium highlighted religious, organizational, and developmental aspects.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the symposium brought together academics and specialists in religious, organizational, health, and technical fields at the College of Arts and Humanities auditorium.
In his opening remarks, the university president underscored the importance Saudi Arabia places on serving Hajj pilgrims and Umrah performers under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prime Minister.
He emphasized that the Kingdom has mobilized its human, technical, and organizational capabilities to help pilgrims perform rituals with ease, safety, and reassurance. He added that the integrated services provided at the Two Holy Mosques and the holy sites reflect Saudi Arabia’s leading role in serving Islam and Muslims. These efforts also underline the Kingdom’s commitment to improving services and enhancing performance quality in line with the highest standards of efficiency.
The symposium later featured a panel discussion moderated by Supervisor of the university’s Intellectual Awareness Unit Abu Al-Qasim bin Ahmed Masmali. The discussion focused on scientific and organizational aspects of serving pilgrims and the rapid development of the Hajj and Umrah system across various sectors.
At the conclusion of the event, the university president honored participants and speakers. AbuRasain praised the scientific topics and insights presented during the symposium, reflecting the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts in serving the Two Holy Mosques and caring for pilgrims.
