Riyadh: Japan's Nikkei stock index closed at its lowest level in more than two weeks today as the yen strengthened.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Nikkei index dropped by 0.97%, closing at 42,394.4 points, while the broader TOPIX index fell 1.08%, reaching 3,071.99 points.
