Dusty Winds and Heavy Rain Forecasted for Parts of Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Weather conditions across various regions of Saudi Arabia are expected to change significantly, with dust-stirring winds and heavy rain predicted.

According to Saudi Press Agency, parts of Jazan, Aseer, and Al-Baha are likely to experience significant rainfall, possibly accompanied by hail.

In addition, moderate to heavy rain is anticipated in the Makkah, Madinah, and Najran regions, with potential fog formation over the highlands in these areas. Southern parts of the Eastern and Riyadh regions, along with certain parts of Hail, can expect gusty winds and light to moderate rainfall.

The sea conditions are also expected to vary, with winds over the Red Sea blowing northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts at speeds of 15-35 km/h, while the southern part will experience southwesterly to northwesterly winds at speeds of 20-50 km/h. Wave heights in the Red Sea may range from half a meter to over two meters, resulting in a sea state that will vary from calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, the forecast indicates northwesterly to northerly winds in the northern and central parts, and southeasterly to northeasterly winds in the southern part at speeds of 15-35 km/h. The sea in this region is expected to be relatively calm, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters.
