Islamic Affairs Ministry Delivers Religious Lecture at Salafia University in Rajshahi

Rajshahi: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the religious attach© at the Embassy of the Kingdom in Bangladesh, implemented the imam and preacher delegation program during the holy month of Ramadan 1447 AH. A religious meeting and scholarly lecture were held at Jamia Salafia (Salafia University) in Rajshahi city, attended by about 330 students of knowledge and worshippers.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the lecture addressed the virtues of fasting and its impact on purifying the soul and strengthening faith-based values in a Muslim's life. It highlighted the significant efforts undertaken by the Kingdom to serve Islam and Muslims worldwide.

This scholarly activity comes within the preaching and educational programs carried out by the delegated imams and preachers during the holy month of Ramadan. Their duties are not limited to leading worshippers in Taraweeh and Qiyam prayers, but also include delivering lessons and religious lectures, teaching the rulings of the religion, and spreading the correct creed, thereby raising religious awareness and boosting the mosque's message in society.
