Islamic Affairs Ministry Activates Signboards at Grand Mosque to Promote 45th King Abdulaziz International Quran Memorization Competition

Riyadh: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has activated a number of signboards at the Grand Mosque and its courtyards to promote the 45th King Abdulaziz International Competition for Memorizing, Reciting, and Interpreting the Holy Quran, organized by the ministry with the participation of 179 contestants from 128 countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the signboards feature introductory phrases about the competition and its role in highlighting the Kingdom's significant efforts in serving the Holy Quran, along with information about the location of the final rounds in the King Abdullah Expansion at the Grand Mosque. They also include images of the wise leadership, affirming the great care given by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the Holy Quran, and their continuous support for everything that serves the Quran and its people around the world.

The competition is considered one of the most prominent Quran competitions internationally, enjoying a distinguished status among participants and those interested across various countries due to its high level of organization, broad participation, valuable prizes, and noble mission that reflects the Kingdom's keenness to lead in good causes and to serve Islam and Muslims.
