Washington: President of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser met with Lebanon's Minister of Finance Yassine Jaber and Minister of Economy and Trade Amer Bisat on the sidelines of the 2025 Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the meeting, Al Jasser reaffirmed the IsDB Group's commitment to supporting Lebanon in overcoming its current challenges. He emphasized the importance of restoring stability and prosperity in Lebanon, while also advancing development efforts by focusing on priority initiatives that ensure tangible and sustainable impact.
The discussions further underscored the significance of strengthening regional integration and continuing the development of joint projects with neighboring countries. These efforts aim to promote inclusive growth and shared prosperity, highlighting the collaborative approach necessary for regional development.
