Iran signed on Wednesday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Moscow to supply gas to Tehran. Iranian Oil Minister Javad Oudji stated to the official Iranian television that the National Iranian Gas Company signed the agreement with the Russian energy giant Gazprom, with the presence of Iran's Acting President Mohammad Mokhber and Gazprom's head Alexey Miller in Tehran. Oudji stated that Iran is fully prepared to receive the Russian gas supply as it has a strong infrastructure and pipelines, adding that Iran and Russia own more than 60 percent of gas reserves in the world.
