The International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC):The International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), a member of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, today launched the second phase of the 'Aid for Trade Initiative for Arab States (AfTIAS 2.0) Program in Mauritania' at its headquarters in Jeddah. This phase is part of a strategic partnership between the ITFC and Mauritania's Ministry of Trade and Industry. According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative aims to increase Mauritania's access to global markets and boost its textile exports by leveraging expertise from advanced industries. In the first year, the program successfully implemented 15 activities in the textile sector, benefiting entrepreneurs, women, youth, and small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This phase continues to focus on empowering these groups and fostering sustainable economic growth in Mauritania.
