RIYADH: Assistant Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Planning and Development Abdullah Alahmari has held a meeting with a Hong Kong Science Park delegation to discuss cooperation in industrial and mining innovation. According to Saudi Press Agency, Alahmari emphasized Saudi Arabia's commitment to fostering innovation in the industrial and mining sectors. He highlighted the ministry's pivotal role in creating programs aimed at positioning the Kingdom as a top destination for innovators, with a focus on developing solutions that increase competitiveness. He also pointed to the growing collaboration between the two countries, particularly following Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef's visit to Hong Kong in September. This visit paved the way for dialogue on partnership opportunities and the exchange of innovative practices in the industrial and mining arenas. Several Hong Kong officials and CEOs from various companies accompanied the delegation, underscoring the potential available to foster and support innovation.
