International Holy Quran Competition for Military Personnel Attracts Global Participation in Makkah

Makkah: The 10th International Holy Quran Competition for Military Personnel, organized by the General Administration for Religious Affairs of the Armed Forces, continues to engage participants in Makkah. The event sees participation from 179 contestants representing 32 countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Maj. Gen. Dr. Misfer Al-Issa, director-general of the General Administration of Religious Affairs of the Armed Forces and supervisor-general of the competition, noted the significant scale of the event both in terms of the number of participants and the diversity of international representation.

Maj. Gen. Dr. Al-Issa emphasized the competitive nature of the event, highlighting the skills and abilities demonstrated by participants in memorizing, perfecting, and reciting the Holy Quran during the judging sessions.

Additionally, the exhibition accompanying the competition has garnered attention by offering visitors insights into activities provided by participating organizations. These activities aim to deepen understanding of the Quran while enhancing its recitation and memorization.
