Makkah: The Ministry of Interior has concluded its participation in the exhibition held alongside the second edition of the Hajj Media Hub, organized by the Ministry of Media from Dhu Al-Hijjah 5 to 8. The exhibition, hosted at the Makkah Chamber Exhibitions and Events Center, aimed to raise awareness about adhering to Hajj regulations, ultimately ensuring that pilgrims perform their rituals in a secure, safe, and comfortable environment.
According to Saudi Press Agency, at its pavilion, the Ministry of Interior showcased key initiatives and services, including advanced AI applications for crowd management that ensure the safety and smooth movement of pilgrims during the Hajj season. The ministry also presented its continuous efforts to maintain the security and safety of pilgrims visiting the two holy mosques, featuring the Makkah Route Initiative - a significant contribution to the Pilgrim Experience Program under Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
The ministry further highlighted the penalties for violating Hajj regulations, detailed the crucial role of the Unified Security Operations Centers 911 in managing emergency security and humanitarian reports, and presented its leading digital services available through the Absher electronic platform.
