Riyadh: The Ministry of Interior has announced fines of up to SAR20,000 for visit visa holders entering or remaining in Makkah and the holy sites from Dhu Al-Qi'dah 1 to Dhu Al-Hijjah 14, while residents who violate Hajj regulations will face deportation and a 10-year ban from the Kingdom. The ministry urged adherence to Hajj rules to ensure pilgrim safety and ease of ritual performance, encouraging the public to report violations by calling 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, or 999 in the rest of the Kingdom.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the fines and penalties are part of a broader effort to maintain order and security during the Hajj season.
