Riyadh: Dust-stirring winds are predicted to blow across several regions of Saudi Arabia on Friday, with potential for light to moderate rain and hail in the Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions. Fog formation is also anticipated in these areas, as well as in the Eastern Region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, gusty winds and rainfall may affect the Madinah, Tabuk, Hail, Al-Jouf, and Northern Borders regions. The weather conditions are expected to impact both land and sea activities.
Winds over the Red Sea will vary, with northwesterly to northerly winds at speeds of 12-30 km/h in the northern and central parts, and southerly to southeasterly winds at speeds of 15-50 km/h in the southern part. Wave heights may fluctuate from half a meter to over two meters, making the sea conditions range from calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds are expected to be northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 10-30 km/h. Waves in this area may range from half a meter to one meter, resulting in relatively calm sea conditions.
