Riyadh: Assistant Minister of Interior for Operations Affairs Lieutenant General Saeed Al-Qahtani attended the Hajj Guidance Symposium organized by the General Administration of Guidance and Counseling at the Ministry of Interior. The event took place at Umm Al-Qura University in the Makkah Region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the symposium focused on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's dedication to serving pilgrims and the crucial role of security personnel during Hajj seasons in ensuring the safety and security of the pilgrims. It provided an in-depth look at the responsibilities of these personnel and the importance of their work in maintaining order during one of the largest religious gatherings in the world.
The discussions also covered the humanitarian efforts of security personnel towards pilgrims arriving via land, air, and sea ports. The symposium emphasized the need for enhanced security performance to ensure strict adherence to Hajj regulations and instructions, thereby facilitating a smooth and safe pilgrimage experience for all participants.
