Riyadh: The Esports World Cup (EWC 2025), currently taking place at Boulevard Riyadh City, continues to solidify its position as the largest tournament of its kind in the world by offering a comprehensive experience that extends beyond competition.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in addition to high-level esports contests, the tournament features a wide array of cultural, entertainment, and tech-focused activities aimed at enriching the experience for visitors of all ages. These include the Content Creator Zone, which attracted top gaming influencers to host live shows and interactive challenges, and a popular pavilion that blends Saudi heritage with modern technology through a digital exhibition and educational workshops designed for all age groups.
The event also leveraged advanced digital infrastructure with dedicated apps and a smart interactive map that guided visitors across key areas, including virtual reality and simulation games, a Saudi food and hospitality festival, cinematic sessions, and a range of sensory experiences.
Chief Product Officer of the Esports World Cup Foundation Faisal bin Homran noted that the second edition of this global event has seen remarkable success since its launch. He pointed out that visitor turnout has surpassed that of the first week last year, highlighting that the organization and diverse offerings reflect the tournament's ongoing evolution and its growing appeal to fans.
