Hail: European Union Ambassador to the Kingdom Christophe Farnaud visited the fourth edition of the Beit Hail 2025 Festival yesterday, held at Aja Park in Hail City. He toured the booths of artisans showcasing the depth and authenticity of Saudi heritage. He expressed admiration for the displays of palm frond weaving, sadu weaving, handmade textiles, traditional Najdi and Hail-style wooden doors, resin art, crochet knitting, Thamudic embroidery, woodcraft, and leatherwork.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Farnaud also attended performances of traditional folk arts, including the Saudi ardah (sword dance) and samri (poetry sung to the beat of a drum), and various artistic presentations from Aseer Region.
