IMCTC Completes Counterterrorism Training Program in Sierra Leone

Sierra leone: The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) recently concluded a military training program focused on counterterrorism operations and the disposal of mines and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in the Republic of Sierra Leone.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this program was designed for officers from the armed forces and relevant agencies. The training covered several areas, including searching for and detecting mines and explosive ordnance, security measures, safe handling procedures for IEDs, risk management, and maintaining field safety in operational environments.

Additionally, it emphasized adopting international best practices in explosive ordnance disposal within a sustainable, professional framework.

This program is part of a broader series of initiatives and training programs undertaken by the IMCTC across its member states.
