Riyadh: The Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) has officially signed a cooperation memorandum with the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) in Riyadh. This collaboration is intended to bolster strategic partnerships and synchronize efforts in supporting development projects and initiatives within the coalition's member states.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the memorandum was signed by Major General Mohammed Al-Moghedi, the Secretary-General of IMCTC, and Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, the CEO of SFD. The agreement aims to create a comprehensive framework for cooperation and coordination that supports sustainable development projects in member states. The initiative seeks to enhance the readiness and capacity of these states to tackle challenges related to terrorism through a scientific and institutional approach that aligns with the mandates of both organizations.
The cooperation focuses on joint management of the coalition's projects and initiatives in member states, ensuring alignment with SFD's activities and programs. It also involves the exchange of expertise through specialized workshops, leveraging shared studies and reports, and highlighting the efforts of both organizations in regional and international forums.
