Riyadh: The Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Nature Reserve Development Authority highlighted recycling as a crucial component of maintaining environmental balance and preserving wildlife within the reserve, marking Global Recycling Day on March 18.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the authority stressed that sustainable environmental practices are vital for protecting ecosystems, aligning with national goals for sustainable development and resource preservation.

Emphasizing its role in safeguarding natural environments and biodiversity, the authority urged the reduction of harmful practices, such as untreated waste, which disrupt the reserve's ecological balance.

The authority also called for widespread adoption of sustainable behaviors to minimize environmental impact and enhance natural system sustainability, underscoring that recycling is a shared responsibility essential for a balanced environment and thriving wildlife.
