Riyadh: The Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve Development Authority, in partnership with the Special Forces for Environmental Security, is actively conducting joint monitoring campaigns throughout the reserve and its seasonal grazing areas to bolster environmental protection and safeguard natural resources.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the field operations have uncovered several environmental violations, such as unauthorized grazing, vehicle intrusion into protected meadows, and damage to vegetation. Legal actions have been initiated against those found in violation of the regulations.
The continuing collaborative efforts are designed to enhance field oversight, protect natural pastures, and ensure adherence to reserve governance. These measures are part of a broader strategy to maintain the ecological integrity of the reserve.
