HRSD Expands Saudization to Encompass 69 Additional Administrative Support Roles

Riyadh: The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) has announced an update to the Saudization decision for administrative support roles in the private sector. This update, effective April 5, 2026, will include 69 additional professions that will be subject to 100% Saudization under the Unified Saudi Occupational Classification.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the new decision incorporates job titles related to secretarial work, translation, data entry, and administrative support. This applies to businesses with at least one worker in these designated professions.

HRSD has made available an updated procedural guide on its website, detailing the affected professions and explaining the implementation processes. The ministry is urging all businesses to comply with this decision to prevent facing regulatory penalties.

This move aligns with HRSD's ongoing initiatives to increase Saudization across specialized professions within the private sector. Private sector businesses are expected to benefit from various support programs and incentives as a result of this update.
