HRH Crown Prince Leads Cabinet Session to Discuss Bilateral Cooperation and Regional Developments

Riyadh: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, chaired a Cabinet session in Riyadh today. The session focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and reviewing regional and international developments.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Crown Prince briefed the Cabinet on his meeting with the King of Malaysia, Sultan Ibrahim, discussing efforts to strengthen cooperation across various sectors. The Cabinet reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's support for initiatives aimed at maintaining security and stability globally.

Minister Issam bin Saad bin Saeed, in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, highlighted the Cabinet's discussion on the state's commitment to Hajj, Umrah, and visitation services. The Cabinet praised the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' address at the Hajj Conference, emphasizing the Kingdom's dedication to serving pilgrims and enhancing services.

The session also recognized the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives for organizing the inaugural History of Hajj and the Two Holy Mosques forum, showcasing the Kingdom's longstanding service to the holy mosques.

Additionally, the Cabinet acknowledged Saudi Arabia's achievement in having 16 cities recognized as healthy by the World Health Organization, aligning with the Quality of Life and Health Sector Transformation Programs under Saudi Vision 2030.

The Cabinet noted the significance of the sixth Islamic Solidarity Games hosted by the Kingdom, promoting Islamic brotherhood and fair competition. It commended agreements and initiatives worth SAR38 billion signed at the Biban Forum 2025 to support entrepreneurship and SME growth.

The Cabinet reviewed a World Bank report on educational improvements in the Kingdom, underscoring the importance of education for human development and economic growth.

Several decisions were made during the session, including authorizing cultural and educational agreements with international partners, approving cooperation in fields such as energy, justice, and economy, and the establishment of the Global Water Organization.
