Riyadh: The National Center for the Prevention and Control of Plants Pests and Animal Diseases (Weqaa) launched the fourth edition of its technical support program for service providers in Riyadh Region at the Chamber of Commerce headquarters. This initiative is in partnership with the Federation of Saudi Chambers, the Riyadh Chamber, the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at), and the Cooperative Societies Council. According to Saudi Press Agency, the program focuses on Weqaa's strategic direction and the support mechanisms provided to plant and animal health service providers. It aims to explore the added value of licensing and the available opportunities for market expansion. The program also covers the various enablement opportunities Weqaa offers for entrepreneurs. It introduces participants to the digital experience through the electronic platform designed for qualification, licensing, and application processes.
