Riyadh: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, welcomed King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan at NEOM Palace. The meeting focused on strengthening the fraternal relations between Saudi Arabia and Jordan and exploring avenues for cooperation across multiple fields.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions included significant issues concerning the Arab and Islamic world, with a particular emphasis on the ongoing developments in Palestine. Both leaders expressed their commitment to enhancing collaboration and addressing shared challenges.
The Saudi delegation at the meeting included several prominent figures such as Governor of Tabuk Region Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Sport Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, and Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz. Other notable attendees were Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, National Security Adviser Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban, Public Investment Fund Governor Yasir Al-Rumayyan, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi, President of the General Intelligence Presidency Khalid Al-Humaidan, and Acting Charg© d'Affaires of the Saudi Embassy in Jordan Mohammed Mu'nis.
Representing Jordan were Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, along with other senior officials. The meeting underscored the mutual interests and ongoing cooperation between the two nations.
