The Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee met with Algerian Ambassador Abdulkarim Behha on Tuesday to discuss prospects of enhancing relations between Jordan and the North African Arab country. During the meeting, the Committee’s Chairman Khaldoun Hayna said the historic Jordanian-Algerian ties must be utilized in all fields, noting constant communication between the two sides on regional and international issues. The Jordanian-Algerian relations are progressing in various fields, embodying national aspirations established by the leaders of the two countries, he added. MPs partaking in the discussions called for increasing agreements, investments, and trade interdependence as well as establishing Jordanian-Algerian trade fares. The envoy praised the level of cooperation in all sectors, pointing to agreements underway to help achieve joint Jordanian-Algerian sustainable development.
