Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has predicted hot to extremely hot weather conditions across parts of Makkah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions on Thursday. Additionally, dust-stirring winds are forecasted to affect areas in Madinah, Makkah, Al-Jouf, and the Northern Borders regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds are anticipated in the highlands of Jazan and Aseer regions. These weather conditions are expected to impact daily outdoor activities in these areas, requiring residents and visitors to exercise caution.
The wind patterns over the Red Sea will vary, with northwesterly to northerly winds blowing at speeds of 12-38 km/h in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to southwesterly winds at 10-35 km/h in the southern part. Meanwhile, wave heights will range from half a meter to one and a half meters, indicating relatively calm sea conditions.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will shift from southeasterly to southerly in the northern and central parts, and from westerly to northwesterly in the southern part, with speeds of 10-28 km/h. The sea is expected to remain calm, with wave heights reaching half a meter to one meter.
