Hot and Dusty Conditions Expected Across Eastern and Northern Regions

Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has forecast hot to extremely hot conditions in the Eastern Region, with dust-stirring winds expected in parts of Eastern, Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, Riyadh, Madinah, Makkah, and Najran regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea will vary in direction and speed. In the northern and central parts, winds will be northwesterly to southwesterly at speeds of 10-28 km/h, while in the southern part, they will be westerly to northwesterly at speeds of 25-50 km/h. Wave heights are expected to range from half a meter to two and a half meters, causing the sea to be calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, the forecast indicates northwesterly to northerly winds at speeds of 15-45 km/h in the northern part, and westerly to northwesterly winds at speeds of 10-25 km/h in the southern part. Waves are predicted to range from half a meter to one and a half meters, with the sea expected to remain calm.
