Jeddah: Historic Jeddah concluded its participation in the Hajj Conference and Exhibition 2025, held at the Jeddah Superdome from November 9 to 12, attracting a large number of visitors and receiving significant media and cultural attention. This event was part of the Ministry of Culture's efforts to showcase Jeddah's historical and cultural significance as the gateway to Makkah and the primary arrival point for pilgrims traveling by sea since the early days of Islam.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the pavilion featured a variety of cultural and tourist routes that highlighted Jeddah's rich heritage. Among these, the 'historic Hajj trail' stood out, documenting the pilgrims' journey from their arrival at the port to their departure for Makkah.
The participation also featured advanced digital content, including virtual reality tours available through the Historic Jeddah page on the Google Arts and Culture platform. In addition, visitors enjoyed an interactive experience that allowed them to scan QR codes to explore the region's landmarks and archaeological discoveries.
