Jeddah: The National Center for Meteorology has forecast heavy thundershowers, accompanied by hail and dust-stirring winds, in parts of Jazan, Aseer, and Al-Baha regions. Moderate to heavy rain is expected in parts of Makkah, Madinah, and Najran regions, with a chance of fog forming over the highlands in these areas.
According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly in the northern part at speeds of 15-45 km/h, and southerly to southwesterly at speeds of 15-50 km/h in the southern and central parts. Waves may range from half a meter to more than two meters; the sea will be calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 10-30 km/h. Waves may range from half a meter to one meter, and the sea will be relatively calm.
