Heavy Thundershowers and Strong Winds Expected in Several Regions

Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has issued a forecast predicting moderate to heavy thundershowers, which may be accompanied by hail and strong winds. These weather conditions are expected to raise dust and sand, potentially leading to flash floods in the regions of Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, and Madinah. Additionally, light to moderate thundershowers are anticipated in the regions of Tabuk, Qassim, Eastern, Riyadh, and Najran.

According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea are expected to be southwesterly to northwesterly, with speeds ranging from 10 to 35 km/h. The wave heights in this area are predicted to range from 1 to 1.5 meters, resulting in a light to moderate sea state.

In the Arabian Gulf, the forecast indicates that surface winds will be northeasterly to southeasterly at speeds of 10 to 30 km/h. The wave heights are expected to range from 0.5 to 1.5 meters, with the sea remaining light to moderate.
