Jazan: The National Center for Meteorology has forecasted heavy rain, which may lead to flash floods, accompanied by hail and dust-stirring winds in the regions of Jazan, Aseer, and Al-Baha. Moderate to heavy rain is also anticipated in the Makkah and Najran regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, rain and dust-stirring winds are expected to affect parts of Madinah, as well as the southern parts of Riyadh and the Eastern regions. The weather conditions are expected to cause disruptions and caution is advised for residents and travelers in these areas.
The forecast for the Red Sea indicates that winds will be northerly to northwesterly in the northern and central parts, and westerly to southwesterly, shifting in the evening to southeasterly to southerly at speeds of 25-50 km/h in the southern part. The sea conditions will vary from calm to choppy, with waves ranging from one meter to two and a half meters.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts, and easterly to southeasterly at speeds of 10-30 km/h in the southern part. The sea is expected to remain calm with waves ranging from half a meter to one meter.
