Health System Provides Over 125,000 Services to Pilgrims During Hajj 1446 AH

Mecca: The health system continues its efforts to provide integrated care to the Guests of God during the Hajj season of 1446 AH. The number of health services provided until the tenth day of Dhu al-Hijjah has exceeded 125,000 services, as part of efforts to enable pilgrims to obtain high-quality health care, in line with the "Health Sector Transformation" and "Serving the Guests of God" programs emanating from the Kingdom's Vision 2030, ensuring the performance of rituals with ease and peace of mind.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the number of beneficiaries of health center services reached 68,000 pilgrims, while emergency departments received 31,000 cases. Additionally, 5,000 cases were hospitalized, including 2,453 cases in intensive care. Medical teams performed 216 cardiac catheterizations and 18 open-heart surgeries. They also managed 362 cases of heat stress efficiently.

These efforts embody the health system's commitment to serving pilgrims according to the highest quality standards, ensuring the continuity of comprehensive healthcare for pilgrims and enabling them to continue performing their rituals with ease, ensuring a healthy and safe Hajj season.
