Health Ministry Announces Completion of Fitness Tests, Vaccinations for New Students

Riyadh: The Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Public Health Authority, has completed the verification procedures for school fitness tests and vaccinations for new students enrolling in the 1447 AH academic year through primary healthcare centers across the Kingdom.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this step enhances prevention and improves the quality of health services for all age groups, in line with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program under Vision 2030, which seeks to build a vibrant society that enjoys sustainable health.

The ministry stated that verification procedures have been completed for approximately 355,000 male and female students to date, with their educational paths determined based on test results. It also noted that 96% of basic vaccinations have been administered, alongside efforts to raise awareness among families about the identified cases.

The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to its supervisory and regulatory role to ensure the provision of comprehensive preventive and therapeutic services for all age groups, in accordance with the highest international standards of quality and safety, thereby contributing to enhancing community health and raising the quality of life.
