Health Minister Meets Indonesian Religious Affairs Minister, Discuss Hajj Health Cooperation

Jakarta: Minister of Health Fahad Al-Jalajel met today with Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar during his official visit to Indonesia to discuss strengthening cooperation, particularly in health-related aspects of the Hajj season.

According to Saudi Press Agency, their discussions covered health requirements for Hajj, mandatory vaccinations, and the importance of joint awareness programs to ensure a safe and healthy pilgrimage experience. The two ministers also explored initiatives to enhance pre-Hajj health awareness campaigns to improve preventive measures and safeguard the well-being of pilgrims.

The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Indonesia Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Amoudi, as well as senior Ministry of Health officials and health sector leaders from the Kingdom.
