Gusty Winds and Heavy Rain Expected Across Saudi Regions

Jeddah: Weather forecasts for Friday indicate varying weather conditions across several regions in Saudi Arabia.

According to Saudi Press Agency, gusty winds accompanied by light to moderate rain and hail are anticipated in the Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions. Meanwhile, the Jazan region is expected to experience heavy rainfall.

In addition to these conditions, dust-stirring winds are predicted to affect Riyadh, Eastern, and Najran regions. These winds could impact visibility and daily activities in these areas.

Regarding marine conditions, winds over the Red Sea will vary from northwesterly to northerly, ranging between 18-50 km/h. The wave heights are expected to be between half a meter and two and a half meters, resulting in a sea state that could be calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, different wind patterns are expected with northerly to northwesterly winds in the northern and central sections, and northeasterly to southeasterly winds in the southern part. Wind speeds will range from 15-38 km/h, with wave heights from half a meter to one and a half meters, leading to relatively calm sea conditions.
