Riyadh: Grand Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, and President of the General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Fawzan Al-Fawzan extended his congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement marking the occasion, the Grand Mufti prayed to Almighty Allah to make this Ramadan a month of goodness, blessings, honor, and strength, and to allow it to return to the Islamic Ummah while it enjoys security, faith, stability, and prosperity.
He also prayed that Muslims be granted success in fasting and performing night prayers and that their righteous deeds be accepted. The Grand Mufti urged Muslims to increase their righteous acts during the holy month, including prayer, zakat, charity, acts of kindness, recitation of the Holy Quran, prescribed supplications, and remembrance of Allah.
He further cautioned against sins and wrongdoing, calling on Muslims to remain mindful of Allah throughout Ramadan, the month of goodness, righteousness, and piety.
