Skopje: Grand Mosque Imam Sheikh Maher Al-Muaiqly visited the headquarters of the Islamic Religious Community in North Macedonia yesterday, as part of a program organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance to strengthen ties with religious institutions worldwide.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Sheikh Al-Muaiqly was received by the Islamic Religious Community President and Grand Mufti of North Macedonia, Hafiz Shaqir Fetahu. During the meeting, Grand Mufti Fetahu praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s efforts in serving Islam and Muslims globally. He highlighted the significant support that Saudi Arabia has extended to North Macedonia across various fields, noting that the visit of the Grand Mosque imam is a direct result of this deepening cooperation between the two countries.
The visit is part of a broader initiative to foster international relationships with religious communities and institutions, aiming to promote mutual understanding and collaboration in religious and cultural matters. The program by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs underscores the Kingdom’s commitment to building and nurturing partnerships with Islamic communities around the world.
