Global Proptech Summit Concludes in Riyadh

Riyadh: The Global Proptech Summit 2025 concluded yesterday in Riyadh, organized by the Real Estate General Authority (REGA) under the patronage of Minister of Municipalities and Housing and REGA Chairman of the Board of Directors Majed Al-Hogail.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event brought together a select group of experts, investors, and entrepreneurs from within and outside the Kingdom to showcase the latest global trends in real estate technology and digital innovation in urban development.

The summit sessions covered a range of topics, focusing on AI and big data in real estate asset management, the future of real estate tokens, and modern legislation and regulations in proptech markets.

The summit underscored the importance of advancing legislative and regulatory frameworks to keep pace with transformations in the proptech sector. This includes updating existing systems and creating flexible regulatory environments that foster innovation and attract investment.

Participants called for attracting local and international capital by establishing investment funds dedicated to real estate innovation and expanding financing incentives for companies developing solutions in smart construction, renewable energy, and resource efficiency.

The conference also recommended empowering human capital by launching educational and training programs, as well as professional certifications in real estate technology, developed in cooperation with regulatory and academic institutions.

The summit reaffirmed that real estate technologies are a key pillar in achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly in building a diverse digital economy.
