Global Infrastructure Forum Concludes Second Day with Four Key Agreements Signed

Riyadh: The second day of the Global Infrastructure Forum and Exhibition, held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, concluded with strong participation from local and international experts and specialists, with 9,000 visitors.

According to Saudi Press Agency, on the forum's second day, the Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center (RIPC) and NHC Innovation signed a cooperation agreement to develop data-driven solutions, exchange expertise in artificial intelligence and smart city technologies, and coordinate technical integration with the Balady+ platform. Three additional cooperation agreements were also signed to support innovation in infrastructure projects.

At the event, eight panel discussions addressed a wide range of topics, including digital infrastructure and urban intelligence, sustainable development, smart mobility and connected transportation, governance and policy frameworks, citizen-centric services, and public-private sector collaboration. Participants emphasized that the future of smart cities in the Kingdom hinges on the integration of digital infrastructure and AI applications. This integration is expected to enhance the quality of life, improve spending efficiency, and support sustainable urban development.

The forum will continue until September 17, 2025, with the participation of prominent infrastructure leaders and distinguished local and international experts.
