Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi received the Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Alexis Konstantopoulos, at the General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh. This meeting marked the conclusion of Ambassador Konstantopoulos' term.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussion highlighted a review of the relations between the GCC and Greece. The dialogue focused on developing and enhancing these relations to serve common interests. Both parties also followed up on the memorandum of understanding for consultations on issues of mutual interest, which was signed in 2021 between the GCC and Greece. Additionally, they addressed recent developments in both regional and international arenas.
