Riyadh: The General Aviation Airshow 2025, "Sand and Fun," achieved remarkable success yesterday, drawing an exceptional public turnout and setting a new global milestone that underscores the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's rising leadership in aerial entertainment. The visitors who enjoy the entertainment zones reached 62,371 in a single day.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi Aviation Club announced that the event set a Guinness World Record for the most fireworks launched while suspended from a helicopter, using a Messerschmitt-Bolkow-Blohm Bo 105 P1M.

The airshow delivered a striking visual display that blended advanced aviation technology with artistic performances, strengthening the event's status on the global calendar of specialized aviation events.

The significant turnout reflects the airshow's expanding role in supporting the Kingdom's entertainment and tourism sectors and highlights the growing public interest in general aviation, an ambition aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 to diversify entertainment offerings and empower national talent.
