Mecca: The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has called on visitors to the Grand Mosque to follow the awareness guidelines concerning the use of golf carts. These guidelines aim to ensure the comfort of pilgrims and enhance their experience within the mosque.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the authority emphasized that the golf cart service is specifically designated for the elderly and persons with disabilities. It requires advance booking through a designated platform to utilize the service. Visitors are urged to arrive on time and begin from the location indicated on their ticket.
The golf cart service at the Grand Mosque serves as a transportation solution primarily for the elderly, people with disabilities, and pilgrims needing assistance in performing the rituals of Tawaf and Sai inside the Grand Mosque. The electronically powered carts are designed for ease of use and comfort, and reservations can be made via the 'Tanaqol' app at https://carts.alharamain.gov.sa/.
This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts to improve the experience of visitors and pilgrims, ensuring a more accessible and comfortable environment for all.
