The Grand Mosque saw a large turnout of worshippers and Umrah performers today, supported by a comprehensive system of services. This included guidance, direction, and organizational efforts from the staff of the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, along with relevant crowd management authorities. Transportation services were provided in areas like Al-Masaa and the Mataf (circumambulation track), with golf carts available to assist older people and individuals with disabilities. Additionally, Zamzam water distribution, cleaning, and sterilization services were implemented to ensure worshippers' comfort and peace of mind. The authority has dedicated all available human and mechanical resources at the Grand Mosque to serve worshippers effectively. Over 5,000 regular and electric carts have been made available for Umrah performers and those attending Friday prayers. These carts are linked through the Tanaqol Application and operate under systematic plans , which include intensified sterilization processes and supervision of cart drivers. Supervisors are stationed at the Grand Mosque entrances to welcome worshippers, direct them to their designated areas, and manage the flow of entry and exit, guiding them to prayer areas and facilities within the Grand Mosque and its outer courtyards. The Visitors of the Two Holy Mosques Care Team, affiliated with the authority, plays a key role in enhancing the visitor experience. In 2024, the team addressed over 1,038 inquiries and observations, providing immediate support to worshippers. Many of these inquiries were transformed into practical solutions and prompt responses, thereby improving the overall experience for worshippers. Source: Saudi Press Agency
