Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), met here today with Sergey Kozlov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, the GCC Secretary General stressed the importance of strengthening GCC-Russian relations in all fields, in a way that contributes to serving common interests. Views were exchanged on a number of regional topics of common concern within the framework of Gulf-Russian relations.
The two officials also discussed international issues and the means to serve common interests.
