GCC Secretary-General Reviews Preparations for 167th Ministerial Council Session

Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi held a meeting today at the general secretariat headquarters in Riyadh to review preparations for the 167th Session of the Ministerial Council. The meeting was attended by assistant secretaries general and officials responsible for the session's organization.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Albudaiwi stated that the meeting focused on preliminary preparation and coordination regarding the agenda topics for the upcoming session, scheduled for March 2026. He emphasized the general secretariat's commitment to early preparation and continuous follow-up for all meetings across various levels.

He further noted that such coordination, conducted in cooperation with relevant authorities in member states, contributes to supporting and advancing the progress of joint Gulf action across all fields. Albudaiwi concluded by highlighting that these efforts serve to fulfill the aspirations of GCC citizens for greater integration and interconnectedness.
