Riyadh: Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi met today at the General Secretariat's headquarters in Riyadh with several assistant secretaries-general and officials responsible for preparing the 163rd session of the Ministerial Council of Their Highnesses and Excellencies the Foreign Ministers of the GCC States.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Secretary General Albudaiwi emphasized that the gathering was held in line with the wise directives of the leaders of the GCC States and reflects the GCC General Secretariat's commitment to carrying out its responsibilities in the most effective manner. He stressed that the preparation and follow-up of meetings at all levels play a key role in strengthening and advancing joint Gulf cooperation across various fields, ensuring greater cohesion and integration that align with the aspirations of GCC citizens.
During the meeting, discussions focused on the final preparations and coordination regarding the agenda items to be presented at the 163rd session of the Ministerial Council.
